This series is named for its beautiful striking color. The unglazed border adds a rustic, handmade feeling to these pieces and creates a perfect contrast to the cool cobalt glaze. Please note that this item has a crackle glaze as shown in an image of another item in this series. This is not a defect. Color may also vary slightly. The spoon does not have the same smooth glaze and may feel rougher in texture. One is meant to sip from the edge of the spoon.
