Mori Relief Mug Circles
Masahiro Mori is one of the most celebrated Japanese ceramic designers. His work is still found in museums and galleries throughout the world as iconic representations of most-World War II Japanese industrial design.
These beautiful porcelain mugs designed by Mori and produced by Hakusan Porcelain Company in Japan are some of our favorite pieces. Most mugs and bowls have a bottom ring that is left unglazed since it has to be set on a surface for the rest of the glazed parts to dry. These relief mugs are glazed all over with a smooth beautiful finish. The relief design adds a wonderful and whimsical texture.
